Arrests Made for Burglary Offences

On Tuesday afternoon police attended premises in Chapeltown to carry out arrest enquiries after receiving information that two men wanted on suspicion of burglary offences were staying there.

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team and Operations Support assisted by putting on a containment of the location and the men aged 29 and 24, were subsequently located and arrested. A vehicle was also recovered for further tests.

The men are believed to be suspects for several burglaries across West Yorkshire, as well as for offences in other Force areas. Both were also found to be wanted on recall to prison.
